On 13 December 1999, Freshnuts started packing retail cashew kernels under the Freshnuts name. The processing and packing center is in Kollam, Kerala, the cashew capital of the world.
Over the years, from a regional supplier we gradually expanded our local foot print to various international markets. Our foundation & core business has always been the domestic Indian market. We currently supply to major retailers such as Nesto, Lulu Hypermarket, Spencer's, Pothys, More Retail and many more.
- Since 2002 we are the top supplier of Dry fruits to Cochin International Airport Duty Free, Thiruvananthapuram and Calicut International Airport.
- We are the registered supplier of GMR managed Kannur Duty Free and Hyderabad Duty Free stores aswell.
- We currently supply to over 450 hypermarkets and convenience stores in the United Arab Emirates.
- We are the registered vendors of Travel Retail Groups such as Dufry, GMR and Alpha Kreol.
- Consistent quality gave us the honor and opportunity to supply the United Nations canteen as well, a proud milestone for Freshnuts.
- Currently we export our Freshnut branded Retail products to countries such as Austria, Germany, France, Belgium and Singapore.
- Through distribution network focusing on Modern Trade, Convenience Stores & Travel Retail, Freshnuts products will be soon available in Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Malaysia and many more.
In December 2018, as per our proactive expansion vision ‘Freshnuts International Trading LLC’ was formally established in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Our direct OFFICE in Dubai will serve as the Middle East Supply Chain Hub for regional distributors. This will enable Seamless Supply, Systematic Delivery Time, Better Liaison and will create a focused Market Approach envisaging strengthened business.
